**IMPORTANT** On page A4 in the June 2, 2021 issue of the Post Dispatch, the article summarizing August 2021 ballot issues mentioned the City of Greendale’s $410K bond issue that will be on the ballot. However, the article erroneously states that a property tax increase is involved. This information is NOT correct. As we have always done with existing bonds, the balance of which will be rolled into the new bond issue if approved by Greendale voters, the note will be paid with existing Capital Improvement sales tax receipts which should more than cover the payment obligation for its duration. The only way a property tax increase would occur is if the City of Greendale does not have sufficient other funds available to pay the debt service on the bonds, which is not expected. Our City has never missed a payment on its bonds since the 2004 issue date, and will not do so with this future bond issue should voters approve it. THIS BOND ISSUE IS EXPECTED TO BE A ZERO-TAX BOND ISSUE. Thank you.
